Does my wife\'s RFE request postpone my approval?

I filled 485 with a ND Oct, 27, 2000. I am the primary. My case is pending. I heard an REF issued on Sept. 5th when I put in my wife\'s case number. I thought that is because my wife was pregnant when she did the medical examination. She skipped some shots. Does her RFE postpone my approval?
