Does Montreal U.S. Consulate TAKE AC-I 140 cases?

Hi Gurus,

My I-140 got approved for AOS and my I-824 has been filed to change it to CP. I have got my receipt on Dec4th. I was wondering if I could do a
AC-I 140 case in Montreal.

About 4 months back my canadian citizenship got approved and now I am a canadian citizen.

So please answer guys/gals, whether I will be able to do a AC-I140 case with my approved I-140 and I-824 receipt.

What happened to Bombay?

Haven\'t heard of AC-140 processing in Montreal. However, you might want to confirm it from the consulate (514 398 9695, option 6, extension 3833) or NVC (603 334 0700).

Can you tell us how that works? Do you send Packet 3 directly to St. Louis? Or do you send receipt to NVC (NH) and ask for a Packet 3?

I think you send to NVC the following:
-Copy of the 1-797 Notice of Approval of 1-140 petition,
-copy of the I-l40 petition, together with copies of the supporting documents submitted to INS at the time the petition was filed,
-copy of the receipt for 1-824 request for overseas processing, and
-proof of previous residence in Canada and evidence of ability to return to Canada for processing.
