Does making e-mail enquiry have negative impact on the process?

Hi,

Have any of you felt slowness in the 485 process, due to e-mail enquiries to CSC Div XII. [ I know the process is dead slow, but does e-mail enq make it dead dead slow]

Thanks
Ayya

hmm... strange you ask this question. I personally do not belive that this would cause any delay on the contrary I have seen people who mentioned otherwise that their cases were stuck and because of an enquiry their cases picked up again (Thanks to Mr. Williams).

What makes you think that it was causing any delay? As such these day's looks like Mr. Williams is no longer responding to emails. This could be because of retro or because he is no longer in the same dept.

Good luck

Email enquiry does not affect the process in any manner. You can make email enquires and you will get the response only if you are lucky. This entire GC process is a mere luck, so don't worry about writing emails.

Thank you for the replies.

My EAD is not yet approved, RD is september 1st week and CSC is currently processing Oct 2nd. So I felt may be the e-mail enq on status has some negative effect.

Yes, the positive messages in the forum made me use e-mail inquiry.

I asked similar question to my lawyer. She said no but wants to make sure
we do not make redundant enquiries...

Email inquiries serve no purpose but to make you feel good. They rarely act on them, I've never seen any evidence of effort on their part. Letters to your congressmen have the best chance of success.
