Does LUD change after FP2?

The LUD does change after FP2, but nobody can say when. For some it changed within days and for some in a couple of months. I am sure there might be some who haven't seen a change for a long time.

For us it changed after more than a month.
 
I did early FP2 on 08/03/04. It was originally scheduled for 09/10/04.
The LUD changed on 09/14/04 (4 days after scheduled FP2). The message, however, didn't change from what it was after FP1.

I initiated an inquiry on 09/22/04 and LUD changed on 10/05/04. This time the message also changed - that they had responded to my inquiry. It is almost 10 days since and I haven't yet received the letter. I am pretty sure they sent the letter to my old address. This, inspite of me calling and updating my address AND getting a confirmation letter in mail that the address change has been applied to our applications.

Sorry for the long one but I find writing all this actually is a vent for all my frustrations.

LUD changed on 08/13/04 and then again on 10/05/04... no message changes...does not make any sense to me. I don't think there is any standard pattern of predictions based on LUD change

For my spouse LUD got changed on 8/19 after we did our FP2 on 8/7 and after that there is no change in anything. My LUD as usual are still saying 01/27/2003. Only GOD knows what is happening with our cases.

I know... VSC is not following any systematic methodology in any of their processes. Its really pathetic. I have to apply for 3rd EADs very soon (Its a waste of money). Hope something should trigger everybody's cases in near future.

It never changed in my case. It changed after they answered my inquiry before issuing FP2 and then changed after the approval.

As far as I know, for some people the status did get updated after FP2.
 
Mine hasn't changed after 33/8 days

My LUD is 06/16/04. Had early FP2 on 09/10 (sch 10/05). So depending on how you calculate, no LUD changes after 33 or 8 days.

And I believe LUD by itself doesn't mean anything. So not getting too worked up over it. May do the FBI name check thing if nothing happens in the next week or so. But will sit tight till the official VSC processing date passes mine (12/2002).

You how how it works, right? LUD changes are inversely proportional to the number of times you check it ;)
 
From all the difference posts and threads on this topic, it does not seem to always change.

It is also unclear what change or no change means for progress on the application.
 
No LUD changes between FP2 and approval

Just got the approval notice an hour back. Early FP2 09/10/2004 (sch 10/05/2004). LUD 06/16/04 and 10/14/04 (approval notice)

So doesn't seem to be any relation between LUD and approval, at least in my case
