Do they accept concurrent I-130 and I-485 at the LA district office? If so, does anyone out there have a correct address to which this application (USC spouse / family-based) should be mailed? I have conflicting information from their website and from the CIS call-center - very disconcerting.

Where does find out details like the ones you tell us? I mean details like appl goes to Chicago instead of LA DO
Secondly, is processing in Chicago expected to lengthen the processing time? I will be applying hopefully in the next 3 months

For filing instruction INS website is very good. One should always look at it before filing.

I am not sure that it legthen the processing time or not but that is what you have to do. There is no other option.
