Yes. He gets a copy. I did my 2nd FP recently. For my first and as well as second, I received FP notice from BCIS and as well as from my lawyer (he forwarded a copy to me).
Common wisdom is both the beneficiary and the applicant (in this case your lawyer) should get a copy of FP notice. First time both me and my lawyer got a copy of FP notice. This time I didn't get a copy yet. I am hoping even if I miss FP copy my lawyer will get one also. Desperately looking forward to second FP notice.
