Does it mean any difference?

After being told to wait "30 days" several times, this time I got a DIFFERENT answer from Senator's office saying "wait for 1-2 weeks".

My question is: Does it mean a lot of difference from "wait for 30 days"? Or just another joke reply from USCIS? Anyone had similar experience?

By the way, any Feb02, Jan02, and 01 cases still waiting?

I am waiting here. Couple of time I used senator and got the same reply wait 30days. I don't think it makes any difference.
Our cases are backlogged and backlogged cases are treated differently. May be we will get approved on our next EAD or AP approval.

Senators and congress men will not go an extra mile if you just ask them about your case. The better option would be to fax complaint letters to congress men who are in House Immigration sub committee. These names can be found in several places, including in the signature of "edison". Let us all fight individually also (in addition to immigrationportal.org efforts). There is a saying that "Thousand ants are as powerful as an elephant" (though it is not literally true :D)

Well one thing I learned is you can't SUE or Fight goverment.
This is how it is.
They will work on our cases when they want to.
