I am terribly sorry that some people on this forum don't appreciate your effort in helping and providing such rich and beneficial information JoeF! I am even disappointed that they are attacking you. You have no motive, or anybody else here, to terrify or scare anybody else. Our only motive is helping others to get help.

JoeF, thanks for posting that information for all to see, and do not worry - we know what the law says and at the end of the day, that is what will win, I am with you on this one. The people who hope to keep their GC's while only entering once a year, WILL eventually loose them. It may not happen now, or in 5 years time, but one day - and who knows when - these people will arrive for their annual visit, only to find that they were directed to an immigration officer who decides to dig a little deeper into their actions. BAM! immigration will revoke the GC and someone will have to return home. I am also sure this action will haunt them in later years when they want to apply for a visitor visa.
 
Come on guys! What you all are doing here? Trying to prove your point here? On this discussion board? Do you think you will get an award for that? May be some people will praise you but that is about it.
As I said here we are to help each other and share the information. Now tell me how all this previous post is helping sshah1001? Does it answer his question? NO. How it is helping to sshah1001 that the people who are doing front and back is right or not or should they stop it or should they be ready fro consequences or not?
After bashar82's SOLID law information, I said may be its not fulfilling the conditions of permanent Residency but then law is not giving ANY upper or lower limits. What a person should understand?
JoeF, on your quote of those people should not get a GC. - Let me repeat my sentence, it is not there choice neither its easy for them but they are doing it for there kids and family. In some part of world Family Value is still alive. My mother got GC because that was the only way that I can get GC as my mom's sister applied for her.
Now people try to help somebody and try to answer someone's question instead of trying to prove your point on this or any discussion board. And please do not analyze anyone’s' behavior without knowing/understanding that person's situation. Try to put yourself in that condition if you can and then give any kind of suggestions.
Again if there is a law, all immigration officers have to follow and implement it on all cases. They can not be Not Alert sitting at America's Port of Entry. Goodluck guys on your Citizenship Process.

HEY DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND THAT IF MY MOM'S SISTER HAD FILED FOR MY MOM, I ONLY CAN GET GC IF MY MOM ACCEPT IT.
I am here for my family. I would love to be with my family. And I am eagar to see them this October. All and everybody knows that America is great country. And IF one person from the family lives in the U.S. and earn in dollar, that gives so much prosperacy and comfort to family in back home. I earn here in dollar and send money to my family so they can live there comfortably. I love to be with my family but I am sacrifising it so that I can help them. I just became a US Citizen and have filed for my brother and sister so that my knephews can have a better opportunities in the future.
But never mind you won't understand all these. May be you have never knew anything about a family. Family Value is not about your own happiness by living with them but by sacrifising for them so that they can have a good life.
 
I am not earning and keeping it with me. It is giving my brother a better oportunity in back country, he has started new business with that money and doing good. :) My knephew is in the best school since now they can afford it. I am not violating any rules here. Earning does gives family value since I am using it for my family.
You think legal people don't care about money, huh. Ask any single person here that they don't care about money. I am not violating any law. That is why I have become a US Citizen just recently. That is why I am employed by State Department :cool:.
Again The Immigration office sitting at America's Port of Entry are not sitting there with sleeping peels that they let go people (so many) for so many times with violation of laws. Looks like you are not winning in your real life (outside the Computer) that is why you are trying here. I have seen so many of your previous post arguing on something which is NOT ANSWERING/HELPING PPL's QUESTIONS. God bless you.
Try to find some place to take out your frustration because I won't waste server's space anymore.

I personally tend to disagree with some of your points in this thread as I dont think amishah's family is doing any fraud by staying out of the country for 1 yr or more. Her Citizenship is not at stake. Please don't instill a wrong sense of fear in these people. Your opinions are well respeced but please remember that the point of this forum/discussions is not to always have the last word

I read amishah's posts very often and they are always helpful. But somebody has wrongly attacked him/her with some nonsense allegation, then I have to support her/him. Read this thread and see yourself what obnoxious allegation made againest amishah, that is ridiculous. If you want party with such sick person, Good Luck to you.
 
The lesson to learn here is that one cannot keep his/her LPR status by visiting US once a year, at least not anymore.
Amishah, looks like it might happen to your parents. However, I am glad that they don't really care about their status. Take it easy, my friend. :)
 
Well said, ban all these trolls, and make all threads exclusive for JoeF so that he can abuse everybody for eternity. JoeF, you have to show your mighty stupidity again and again to ban trolls, if thats the way then be it. You have to have last word ,ban everybody.
