Does Fax inquiry help in getting FP Notice or Receipt Notice?

Does it really make any difference if you:

- Send FAX inquiry to CSC/INS
- Ask your Attorney to do the same
- Call IIO and ask for the FP notice (or Receipt Notice etc.)

Do these actions really help? Or is it just wise to sit back and
not stress out and wait...

Is there anyone who has benefited from the above?? Please post your
experiences.

No Use

My WAC # 01-142-XXXXX RD 3/6/01, ND 3/27/01, PD 01/2000. My Attorney FAXED on 7/3/01 got reply from INS on 7/26/01 with Status "PENDING". Still waiting for FP. I live in Santa Clara (San Jose). My last name starts with "S".

Today I called IIO to know when I can receive my FP notice. She(heard like chinease accent) checked my (also for my wife\'s case) address and after that she told me...Ok I will initiate issuing the notice process and you will get it within next two weeks.
Is it beleivable??
Any comments will be appreciated.
