Does employer keep the right to revoke the GC if an employee leave the company immediately after 485 is approved and card recieved? Heard from some forum that employee needs to be with sponsoring company for atleast 6 months to satisfy the GC rules. Is it so? If employer terminate the employee after employee recieves the GC, does it create any problem with GC validity?

Please advise

Thanks in advance

The employer cannot revoke the GC; only USCIS can.

If you quit right away after receiving the GC, if the employer claims fraud USCIS would be inclined to believe them - or at the very least there would be some onus on you to provide otherwise. After all, the GC is so you can work for the employer.

There is no ironclad written rule on how long you must work for the sponsor after approval; only a "reasonable amount of time". How you define it depends on your relationship with the employer and your appetite for risk.
