Does Electronic Form go to DOS system

I have filled out the electronic form for H4 rev and after pressing CONTINUE got the form in pdf format with barcode.

Now I was just wondering if the details are stored with barcode in DOS system or it only gives the pdf file.

What difference does it makes to you if details are stored with barcode in DOS system or it only gives the pdf file????

As per what I understand, it does got to DOS(dept of state) database, thereby, helping with data-entry & speedening up the process(as some of the edits get handled when filling electronic form).

Thanks Chulchi, ginnu.
So that means one has to fill properly the e-form and then only once press the Continue button.

If tried to do it again to correct anything in the form, it will create multiple entries .

This info will be good for all.
