Does Early BIOMETRICS speed up the process?

I did early BIOMETRICS walk-in for I-751. The problem is when I check the case online, I only see when they accepted the paperwork.

The case status didn't change even after I did the biometrics?!! Does BIOMETRICS speed up the process? Or does the process stay on hold until the original day of the original biometric appointment?

Thank you

Its hard to answer. There is no yardstick to measure the process by doing it early or doing it on time. Everyone has a different timeline and so many factors are at play. I would assume that it does speed up the process some but then again I am just guessing. I have always done the bio appts on time and it seemed to go smoothly.

hey guys, do i have to wait for my biometrics letter first in order to do an early walk-in? will i get turned down or not even with a letter in hands or it depends on their mood? will they ask for any explanations of why i showed up earlier? thanks!

p.s. i just hope it will speed up my EAD production, and even if it has no affect i still don't loose anything by walking in early

In terms of showing up to ASC without a biometric appointment notice, more then likely the answer will be no. The appointment notice has a code on what services needs to be done. It also has a barcode so the tech can make sure the information is going to the correct file. Once again, the people who work at the ASC are all contractors, so they are unable to provide information about your case.

(On USCIS website it says military personal can appear at a ASC without an appointment. So if you are part of the military you might be in luck, but if you are not then more then likely you will be turned away.)

i just got the biometrics notice today (scheduled in about 2 weeks from now) and already had my fingerprints taken at their miami location. all they needed was that letter and a picture ID. the office was pretty much empty, with only 4 persons in line. it took me about 10 min to get it done. awesome!

Thats good yours went that fast. I guess they dont care if no one is there. If the center is busy then I am sure people will get turned away.
