Does EAD approval depend on FP

I had my FP done in 2/2/2005 but the status of I-485 has'nt changed since then.I dont know where my FP results have gone.
Also I had an LUD change on I-765 to 03/02/2005 but still not approved.
Can it be the reason that CSC may not have received my FP results and they kept EAD approval on hold.

I received EAD AP long before I got FP notice. But rb180 is right. it is ramdon.
According to murthy.com AILA questioned about why some cased filed in 2004 had not recieved FP notice in very long time, they answeed that it was "inadvertently". So your pending EAD might be another " inadvertent" issue.
 
EAD approval nowadays have no dependency on FP.
You should get EAD within 90 days if there is no additional inquiries for your case.
 
I am really surprised that most of the members in this forum who have had an LUD on their I-765 basically was an approval of their EAD.
But for me it turned out to be a different story.I think I should change my username in this forum.
