Does DO I-485 Processing Time matter?

I did some search but could not find an answer.

Just curious if DO I-485 processing time has any effect on the GC approval?

My I-485 RD is November 8, 2006 and I had an interview at Garden City, NY on February 22, 2006.

DO processing date in NYC shows October 26, 2006.

I was wondering if this is what causes delay in addition to security clearance.

Any thought? Thanks.

I-485 processing time IS the GC processing time.

Your security clearance is an individual thing and it's not affected by the DO's processing times. Plus, they are not always correct online....
