Since the 9/11 attacks were in 2001, the freeze should have started in Nov 2001, if the security was the issue, don't you think? Or they just took lot of time to streamline the security policies or its just the economy or...

in about oct of last year the jit went all the way to 11/21 - then it stood still for a month if I remember right ( I was very excited as our rd is 12/7 - I figured we were just weeks away - then the whole freeze thing happened and the next thing the jit went back to 10/1 - yes BACKWARDS - explain that !! Did they suddenly discover a filing cabinet they had missed or what? It then went forward again to 11/16 ( so I got excited AGAIN) - and it has stayed there ever since - thats about 6 months now!
