Does Contacting senator results any bad effect on my case?

Hi,

My RD is Sep-18, 2002, I did not receive second finger prints notice and I am seeing approval of 2003 filers. To move my case faster I thought of contacting senator.

Please advice me, does it impacts negatively on my case?

My experience has been that Congressional intervention rarely has any effect on a case, but certainly not negative. Give it a try.
