Does checking the online status slow the process.

Don't run scripts frequently anyway...

USCIS has a restriction based on too many queries originating from same host, and when the threshold crosses they block access for a day and then you can do it again.

This generally happens if you are running the scripts that are scanning for lots of receipt nos. at a time. I suggest don't run the scripts frequenty and if you still wanna do it, run them from behind a one to many NAT which sends your queries with different internet addresses each time by design.

Don't worry too much about checking the status, its our right to do so as frequent as we want

Om ! Status check is "Crime of Moral Turpitude" -- and be ready for deportation :) What about checking bank account. Bank can arreast you suspecting a fraud. :D

Its an open site. It wouldn't be fair to do this. Let's say if everyone on this forum runs a script checking only my receipt number 1000 times, before they need to get a new IP, will I get a read flag for each inquiry? :D :D

Let's see, quick math
~78,570 members
1000 queries max per day
80% of members can get a second IP via work/home
so :
((78,570 + (78,570x .8)) x 1000) x 2 = 282,852,000 hits per day!

282,852,000 x 365 days = well...you get the idea, my calculator ran out of space :D :D

I wonder if that will get a specific receipt number delayed in any way if we do that for a year, I doubt it, none of thse hits would have been from me, so why would they have the right to delay my case?
