Does being audited by IRS affect citizenship chances ?

Hello,

I was audited my IRS for a discrepancy of a few thousand dollars which I settled promptly. It was a honest mistake on my part and not intentional. Does this affect my citizenship chances in any way ?

Thanks

If the IRS did not pursue criminal charges against you for tax evasion, and you don't have long trips overseas during which you failed to file required tax returns, the previously unpaid taxes won't hurt your naturalization if you don't have any overdue taxes that are still unpaid. And even if you still have unpaid taxes, you're still OK if the IRS has agreed to accept a payment plan and you are making the payments.

No criminal charges were filed. It was just a discrepancy in the way business taxes for a sole proprietorship and LLC were calculated.
