Called an IIO and she said that my case is in staging area(on the floor)
and an officer might pick up and start processing at any time.
Does anybody have any clue about what this means?.
Case details:
Receipt #: WAC-01-165-XXXXX
RD: 04/06/2001
ND: 04/24/2001
FP Done: 12/07/2001

No Title

I thiink after FPs are cleared by FBI, and background checks, the case becomes adjucation ready at that point the case is returned to a shelf based on month of ND (staging area). Adjucating officers will pickup cases from those shelves. Since you have April ND, it is highly possible that next officer may pickup your case (case assigned). Once the case is assigned to an officer it may take any where between couple of days to couple of weeks.

Now, I am not sure how the new "security check" will be done, when and how long it takes.

Good luck

Look like this IIO has called the "Shelf" as staging area.

When I called the IIO, she said my file is adjudication ready since 01.10.02 and sitting on a shelf. It can be picked up by the IIO any time. The IIO said that at the end of January 2002 and I am still waiting for my approval.
