Does anybody have idea about Passport validity during the approval period??

While filling out I485 application there was a clause that the passport should be valid for atleast 6 months from the day the applicant sign the application.
My passport\'s expiration date is 03 Nov. ND is 13th March. That time my Passport was valid for about 9 months. But now it is going to expire before I get my 485 approved.
Do you think it will be an issue for RFE ???

I was told that your passport should be valid for at least 6 months when you go for your passport stamping after your 485 is approved. Why don\'t you get it renewed? It should not take long. And if you go personally to the Consulate, you can get it renewed the same day.

Yes, I aam going to send it for renewal today. But I am asking do they require passport to be valid for 6 months during the time of 485 approval ? Or they need 6 months minimum at the time of PP stamping ?
