Does any one know if VSC ask for 1040 form as RFE or its only w2-from please answer

As you migh find a message below "VSC 485 RFE Received" by BIG JOHN, they might ask for tax returns. If do not have copies of those, you can get them from IRS for a fee.

In my case they asked only W2 in addition to the updated employment letter and pay-stubs.

please reply!!! RFE posted on 7th ND 24 May99 EB2 India. Is this a big deal guys ? what is the purpose of these RFE ? to prove current empoyment or The same employement with same salary. Isnt it too obvious that in 3 years salaries do increase, mine did
What are the precautions one shoud take in providing the evidence. Please reply

I think it is to just to verify that your are still employed by the same company. My salary had increased by about 60% after my LC was approved. My letter showed the current salary and stated that I am a full time permanent employee of the comapany from xx/xx/xx.
