If someone could let me know which documents I need to carry to the Interview and/or point me to a relevant thread, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

If your is a straight forward 5 year based case, you only carry your GC and driver license and 2 passport photos

Just follow the yellow letter and the doc check list that come with interview letter.

To be extra cautious, carry yoru old passport for trip verification.
Tax returns copies, marriage docs, chidlren birth certificate, and
perhaps

Abouttime, ofcourse take your GC, your interview letter, your state ID. Its also good to take your SSN Card, last 3 years of tax returns or if you owed any taxes, proof of payments, if you have any missing stamps, some proof of those travel. Any copies of visa's before your GC was approved..If you had tickets in the past and didn't report them..thats fine but you may want to take evidence that you paid the fines in case you were to be asked.

One person was asked to give statement from a joint account(since his wife was overseas) to show that he is supporting their kid.

In a nutshell, you want to have everything that may be asked with you or in your car, in case you were asked for it.
