Your lawyer will mail you a packet and list of required documents
For I-140 you’re all past H1 approvals, copies of I-94, passport pages, educational evaluations, educational degrees, and transcripts, past exp letters, recent pay stubs, W-2 and employer ability to pay the wages, employer has to sign the I-140, fees is paid by employer
For I-485: Fill up FormG-325 A, Form I-485 .all H1 approval notices, copy of I-94, passport pages, medical results, photographs, Affidavit of support if spouse is also filing, copy of birth certificates if no birth certificate available then, non availability and 2 affidavits and immigration style photographs and BCIS fees.
