Documents required for H1b stamping

Hello,

I plan to go for H1b visa stamping again.
The consulate website states Tax Returns for ALL years in US, W2 and pay-stubs are required.

Please share your experience regarding these documents at Interview, when re-stamping (not first stamping)

It depends on VO, When I did for second time stamping, VO asked for H1B papers nothing else but its safe to carry all documents with you Incase he asks for it.

------------------At this time they ask for all the documents. Many also face problems at POE after Visa stamping due to USCIS Memo of January 8.

01/28/2010: Recent USCIS Memorandum on Employer-Employee Relationship for H-1B Petition Puts the USCIS in the Storm of Controversy and Potential Target for Lawsuit

This memorandum which we reported earlier has been causing serious challenges by the agency against the nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions filed by the IT consulting businesses as well as challenges faced by the H-1B foreign consultants returning from overseas trips. Additionally, this memorandum poses a serious threat agaist the beneficiaries of immigrant and nonimmigrant petitions where the beneficiaries own controlling shares or self-employed business petitioner. To address the problem, the AILA has written a letter to the Counsel of the USCIS to review the legality of this memorandum from the standpoint of various rules and laws, particularly APA, and also from the standpoint of the agency's age-old tradition and practice permitting self-owned business filing employment-based petitions under certain circumstances. The issue of whether or not the agency should have followed the procedure under the Administrative Procedure Act and taken rule-making route instead of memorandum format is vulnerable to the legal challenge in federal courts.
