Documents required for a TD holder entering US alone

My wife is planning to go abroad (South Asia) for a week and will be coming back to USA alone. In the past whenever she traveled outside USA, I always accompanied her on her way back. We use to retain our original I-94s which helped us not to be scrutinized upon entry. Since she will be traveling alone this time, what documents (in addition to her I-94 and the copy of my I-94) should she carry to avoid any trouble while re-entering in US.

The docs you mentioned are enough - assuming she does not need a consular visa.

Since she will be traveling alone this time, what documents (in addition to her I-94 and the copy of my I-94) should she carry to avoid any trouble while re-entering in US.

Since her I-94 will be pulled (as it should), a copy of her I-94 should be carried, to avoid needing to re-apply for TD with marriage license.

In the past, we have retained the original I-94 and attached them back to our passports on our way back. The officers never objected that method but I understand that some of them might. I will ensure that she will carry an extra copy of the I-94 just incase. Thanks for your help.

I have always kept my I=94 attached to my passport, I have done this for years now. I have a 3 year TN. The thing is that I only go to Mexico and cross the border in car or walking, I have never used it when flying, I always try to avoid that. Guess you can't walk to Asia right?
