1)what documents are needed for stamping ppt.

2)do they ask H-1/H-4 notices as well?

haven\'t yet received approval notice(AD 7 feb.),
but want to know the list in advance.

3)also do we have to take the photos in the exact same
format that we did for submitting 485?

docs required for GC PP stamping

1.Your Aprroval ( Your copy or Lawyer\'s copy. Any one this is OK)
2. Your passport
3. Your I94
4. Photos -2 ( In same format as when you file 485/EAD)
5. EAD and Advance parole ( If you have. )

No other document have asked.
 
how long it takes to get the approval notice after getting approved?

mine got approved on feb 8th. just wondering when i will receive my notice. Also does INS mail the approval notice on the day of approval?

yes.. ins mails it on the day of aproval.
people who got approval on 6th feb have received notices.
my estimate is that you will receive it on tue/wed and i will reeive it on monday/tue (my AD - 7 feb.)

I got stamps at SJC. Was a easy process except the wait from 4.40 AM in line. Once I am the next person in front of the gate then , the whole process took less than an hour.

In my case, approved on 02/04 as per AVM. First heard as approved on 02/06. Recevied on mail 02/07. stamp on 02/08.

Yes the photo size should be same as your EAD photos. Take your copy also along with the original approvals. They dont ask for h1 copies only your I-94 from your passport or if you have from the H1 give that also. I would suggest you go there arounf 3.45 am you will be done by 9 am. dont go on thursday it is open only till 12noon
