Documents for H4 ....

My wife would be going to the Chennai counsulate for H4 visa soon. Does anyone what documents she needs to take and the forms she needs to fill.
My understanding is she requires :
1)My Employment letter
2)Paystubs
3)My H1 reciept
4)Her passport
5)marriage certificate and marriage photos.

is anything else is required ?

Is original I797 required for H-4 stamping??

Hi,

I got my H1 stamping from Canada and am now in the process of sending documents to my wife, so that she can apply for her H-4 visa at Chennai.

I want to know if i should send the original I-797 approval notice for her H-4.

Great info. you have provided. Am in for the same in a week. Could you please let me know the Marriage cert process at Noida as I will be going there. I checked there are agents who take 5000Rs and then they say it will be done the same day only if the signing authority (SDM) is there, could you let me know where and how the extra bucks could help to get the marriage certificate on the same day ...
