Documents for EAD

Hi All,

Through web research I found that the below list is the set of documents required to apply for an EAD on L2 visa -

1. Form I-765 Signature Card.
2. A copy of Form I-94,
3. 2 photos with a white background taken no earlier than 30 days before submission to the INS,
4. Other supporting documents showing that the applicant is eligible to obtain the EAD.

What are the "Other supporting documents" mentioned in 4.? I assume that proof of marriage and copy of petition approval are required, what else would be needed?

Could somebody that has applied for and received an EAD answer this question for me please?

Hi,

You can apply for EAD online and after applying you will be advised to go to an ASC for finger printing, photograph and signature. Supporting docs :

L1 & L2 Petition(copies)
Copies of passport of both L1 and L2 especially visa stamps.
Marriage certificate.
I-92 front and back.
If you choose to apply online, you can apply any time and this way you will get receipt number and date immidately. Please note that appliction will not be processed until you visit ASC.

After submission of application, please take an appointment with ASC ASAP!
