Documentation of waiver completion

Hello everyone! Great forum!

I will finish my waiver next year but I am already planning to leave my current job. Besides my paystubs and W2's, will there be another requirement to show proof of completion of my waiver?

I believe it depends on the state. Some require the employer to sign off on your completion of the waiver (another mechanism to make sure that you are at the mercy of some slavedriver).

This is a good point to someone to guide us, new and future j1 waiver job holders, how to proceed with this delicate task of documenting that you have fulfilled your 3 year obligation.

What should you do from day 1 of j1 waiver job that would help at the end of three years proving that you have successfully done three years in HPSA/MUA area.

If it varies from state to state, how would you find that out? Who do you contact in the DOH of the state?

I was considering getting letter from the employer every six months or yearly that I have worked full time at this site. This would be tricky to get such a letter. Any ideas how to approach it. And are these letters going to do any good at the end of three years if employer refuses to give final letter.

Another point, at what level of GC processing you would need this kind of letter. Let us say, if LC and I-140 with CP is done during the first year of J1 waiver, when would this letter be needed then?
