Document(s) required for travel within US during H1 revalidation

I have submitted for H1 revalidation. The receipt date at St.Louis is Jan 07, 2002. From this thread I came to know that it would take at least 10-12 weeks for the process.

During this period if I have to travel within US, what document/ ID can I present at the airport in lieu of my passport. Please advice.
 
Do not worry much...

Your ID, Copy of H1 approval and copy of letter send to St.Louis should be enough. Generally ID is enough. If you are flagged by an INS agent with the copy of H1 approval they will know that you are in valid status.
