Document OTHER THAN CARD Manufactured and Mailed.

Same to me : My case still under retrogression.

I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR
TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Document OTHER THAN CARD manufactured and mailed.

On March 28, 2007, we mailed the document we manufactured based on our
earlier approval of this case, and mailed it to the address on we have
on file. You should receive the new document within 30 days. If you do
not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service.


DO YOU GUYS THINK IT IS A PPROVAL NOTICE OR SOMETHING ELSE.

That seems to be a approval notice....I also got the same message & checked with couple folks as well as called USCIS customer service. They told its the approval notice. Also I observed that your dates of Labor/140/485/FP are pretty much similar to mine..so looks like some good news for you. Was yours EB2/EB3 ? Was your case transferred to the Texas Service Center??
 
i filed for an I-130 for my husband...so our applications are different...
but ur approval letter is on the way hopefully.

Yes my case Transfered to Texas Center, After that I saw this message. And mine is a EB2 case. And what is yours?

If it is a approval. How could it be, Bcoz my case Priority Date still not yet current.

I have heard different things. This could be approval, denial, RFE, Fingerprinting.
Looks like "approval" here just means that previous step was completed (approved) and now the next step has started.

The document that they manufactured is your green card.

I got that mail on Mar 24 2007 but still waiting for the ‘other than card (?)’ from USCIS. I got my AP approved on Mar 22 2007 but in the online status of I-131is still showing "pending" rather the status of I-485 was updated with "Document Other than....” I think something going wrong in USCIS computers and it is updating the status of I-485 instead of I-131 (guess). Do you also have any other approved cases (such as EAD or AP) based on I-485 Pending?

I got a duplicate notice?

I got the following notice yesterday:

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On April 4, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

However, I already received this email on March 27 and received the letter in the mail on March 31. The card production was ordered on 03/30. Why would they issue another approval letter?

There is nothing wrong with USCIS Computers !! Iapplied for EAD & AP & the respective applications were updated....This Document other than card notice is specifically for 485 only.

I got the same message as you all got. I've called the USCIS today and they say it is going to be another 45 days before they can reissue the document .

Same here !! I have been waiting since March 16th with the same message...not sure whats going on......any ideas ??
