Hi:
I was wondering what are typical notices people get
when their I485 that were stuck in BC are getting reviewed following
February changes.

On February 29 my wife got this notice
Document mailed to applicant notice
"On February 29, 2008 we mailed the document to the address we have on file. You should receive the new document within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service."
She is a secondary applicant my case was approved almost 3 years ago and she was stuck in FBI check.

She was fingerprinted last fall.
She did file change of address 1 year and a half ago and since then she got documents fron INS to our current address.

We have not receive any paperwork yet.
So what does this notice mean?
Our lawyer thinks it is a GC, but it seems other people getting different messages if this is the case.

Thanks

It could be RFE.

It looks like computer glitch. I have this message for last 4 months, nothing received. I tried all possible ways to find out, SR, TSC IO, Congressman. Finally SR reply came as extended review wait for 180 days... I know my spouse case cannot be approved at this time and given up all the hopes.

My S.....d attorney said it was approval. he he

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Document mailed to applicant.

On November 26, 2007 we mailed the document to the address we have on file. You should receive the new document within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service.

In my case, I received a letter which was the response to my SR and earlier, it had gone to my previous address. Then they finally forwarded it to my new address and the message was updated that "we mailed the document..."

Thank you!

in my case it says "case reopened or reconsidered " when in fact it was never closed to begin with. !!!! confused....

I got the same thing....Stopped worring with these messages any more.

Correct, an approval is associated with 'Card production ordered' message whereas for denial it is 'we mailed you a decision'.
