Docs required to invite parents for my wedding

I am a Pakistani citizen, I've been living in US for about 8 years , first on F1 and now on H1-B.
I am getting married to an Indian citizen in August and I would like to invite my parents for the wedding. What documents are required for this purpose?? Do I need to send a marriage license?? the state of TX only issues a marriage license a month in advance so I don't have one at present.
I will be sending an invitation card, a contract from our wedding venue and our caterer. What other documents are needed.
My mother had applied for visa in 2007 but it was denied. The Visa Officer told her she has a lot of family members in USA (Her parents, and her siblings live in TX). I want to be sure that this time it is not denied,
Please help me with your suggestions or any experiences that you maybe had.

Thank you

In my opinion, parents do not need a wedding invitation from their own child for B-2 visa purposes. B-2 visas are self-sponsored. Your parents should apply for B-2 visas on their own and try their best to overcome 214(b).
