I am applying for AP before end of October 04. One of the evidence asked for is "document of current status". My H1 expires on 31st October and I go onto EAD from 1st November. What is the document (copy) I need to attach.

If your current status is H1, then just send a copy of the H1 approval notice.

Don't worry about a future expiry date -- its just to prove that you hold a status that you claim, on the application date.

Another option is to switch to EAD now -- I mean its only a matter of 6 more days and then file AP as "AOS Pending" status (send copy of 485 receipt).

Would it be proper to send a copy of the EAD card if we say AOS pending.

Does this also mean that if I send in the application after 1st Nov I do not need to send H1B approval notice copy.
