Do you guys think upcoming election will have impact on Approvals rates and processing speed ?

I don't think election is the reason for that. There could be several other reasons. One is H1. From October H1 processing started again and probably some of the adjucators, who were adjucating 485 till september, are procesing H1 now.

I doubt it, since even if you have an approved I-485 (ie Green card) you still can't vote. It might speed up N-600 processing, but not I-485 processing.

My attorney told me that it could be possible that USCIS want to use up all the budget before new term of the presidency..., faster processing time before election??

so the question remains - can these morons speed up the process next 19 days and finish the backlog (atleast address the 2002 cases) ?
