Do you think I still have time for DV 2010

How you doing All...
I received the 1st NL . I send the package back , then I received the 2nd NL. Since that time I waited for my cutoff number and it just appeared. My visa is current in Aug2010.
I send the DV Fee 375 per person in my case 1500 for all the family members.
my questions
Do I have to wait for the Rcpt of my payment to include it in the AOS Pckg to Chicago?
Do they accept personal checks for the AOS fee?
from now to september 30 is 8 weeks, do you think I have enough time to go through the other process?

I have the Pckg and it's ready to be sent once I got an answer for these quastions ...
 
I think it is possible, Making a payment thru a Credit Card or money order will save a week over a personal check ( they do take checks, it must be drawn in a US financial institution though ). I dont know about DV AOS to chicago, but all the other AOS are filed with NVC and they are very helpful specially if you call them ( you can call them everyday if you like ) for time restricted cases and they will work with you to make it happen.
