Hi, I need to send my I-129 (TN- Management Consultant) for renewal and wondering if I really need to hire a lawyer for this, or is this something that one can do on their own? I've seen some examples of renewal forms done for others and it doesn't look that complicated.

You and your firm can file I-129 yourselves.

Just don't come back here asking what goes on every stinking line!

I literally took the form, filed out everything I could on my own, gave it to my emoployer and said "this is what the form should read as, I just need the company specific info like Net income, Employer ID etc etc" and handed it to my boss. He filled it out, gave it back to me to check over, it looked good. Put it in the envelope with all my TN things (Diploma, Extension letter etc etc) and off it went.

If you know how to fill out the I-129, you and the company should fill it out yourselves, no lawyers are really needed as it is a straight forward and simple form.
