Do we need transit visa for Amsterdam while going to India.

I know someone posted one thread regarding requirement of transit visa at Amsterdam airport during journey to India. Do we really need visa before flying from US? (Flight is Northwest). Any input is appreciated.

I just returned from amsterdam using AP and I didn't need any transit visa.

get a schengen visa and stay a while..

dude...Amsterdam is wonderful place to hang out. walk around...it's the size of mylapore (oh! thats a small part of chennai) and you can puff the magic dragon in any coffee house !!..cool eh ??

You don't need a transit visa as long as you stay inside the airport. I travelled to India by KLM with a stopover of some hrs at Amsterdam airport.

intl. man of mystery..listen....I was so stoned I just kept walking around...its beautiful there...it also has a red light area like you cant imagine !! man...beautiful girl...i couldnt go cos my ex. girl friend was with me...but...I hear its awesome...go there and have some fun !!

You don't require transit visa for changing flight. you just change terminals for another flight.
