Do we need to have Income tax Documents for H1-B?

Hai,

I am to apply for the H1-B visa.Do i actually need to submit the income tax transcations with the visa application?And may I know the exact forms to be submitted along with visa application?

You will need following documents.

1. I-134 Affidavit of support form.
2. Statement from your employer which should include
date and nature of employment, salary paid, comments about position (temporary OR permanent)
3. Letter from your bank
4. Your letter stating that you will take care of your own expenses in USA.
5. Copies of recent salaries.
6. Copy of last 3 years income tax returns.
7. If inidian citizen then Original birth certificate copy will required.
8. If indian citizen the Proof as Indian citizenship
9. If married then marriage certificate.

i have two doubts regarding this

1) what is I-134 ?

2) Letter from Bank ? what should that letter contain?

If you are applying first time from your home country you no need to submit your income statement for H1.

You must submit your privious employment verification and your educational/experience verification.
