DO V NEED 2 SURRENDER UNEXPERIED EAD & I-94 AFTER RECEIPT OF 10YR PLASTIC GREEN CARD?
Hi guys,

I received my plastic green card b4 the expiry of my I-94 & EAD, so do
i have 2 to surrender this unexperied EAD AND I-94 if so where should i send it?

further i'd like to know that after i received my 10 yrs plastic GREEN CARD
does that mean i got approved both I-130 and I-485?
Coz the reason 4 asking this is my case status say that I-485 got
approved where as the I-130 status never changed and it still says
the same statement that it takes 30 to 90 days to processes. So
iam confused that inspite of the receipt of my 10 yr green card the
the status is unchanged.

Do i think that i got my I-130 also got approved tooo since i
already got my 10yr GC?

Clarifications would well be appreciated.

I-130 status never changed for us online either.
This status stuff is relatively new. For local offices , there was no way to track before so there wasnt this confusion...

Anyway be rest assured that the I-485 is approved along with I-130. So dont worry about that..

As far as I-94 and EAD, the interviewing officer should have kept it.
If he didnt then also it doesnt matter as all the officer did in my wife's case was throw those 2 in the garbage right in front of us.

Thanks a lot 4 ur quick retort, the officer did asked my EAD and took my passport and verified I-94 and after the interview she gave it back to me saying that i'd initially receive an approval letter in 2 weeks and on receipt of that approval letter it'll take 2 more weeks for ur PLASTIC GREEN CARD,but i was amazed to received PLASTIC GREEN CARD(valid for 10 yrs) IN 2 WEEKS itself.

Further as my I-94 and EAD was supposed to get expired in FEB 05
i applied for a new EAD and received that new EAD tooooo SO now i got 2 EAD'S both are unexpired and both'd get expired in FEB2005.
Therefore what'd u suggest about these 2 EAD'S? all goes in the garbage? :confused:

Any one who is in the same situation may kindly share and their views 'd well be appreciated.

Well the officer should have kept the EAD and I-94.

anyway now you have 2 momentos to hang on the wall costing $175 each :D

I have mine still lying with me after 10 yrs now.
