Do they send EAD receipts?

My lawyer filed for EAD in the beginning of May. Since that time there was no receipt. Please share your experiences.

I am in similar situation, with a little difference. EAD receipt was sent for dependent and not for primary. Though applied at the end of May.
What your lawyer is suggesting? I am planning to call but not sure if it will work. Presumably I have to apply again.
Was your application paper-based or e-filled?

Yes.. they do send EAD receipts. I had file spouse/mine in April. Here is the timeline :
I-765(EAD):2nd: ND:04/17/07 RD:04/23/07 LUDs:04/26/07 AD:05/14/07 Card Received:05/18/07

I received the receipt for my spouse and not for myself.

Yes they send the Notice of recipt to givem address. I filed this month on 1 june 2007(Efile EAD and AP) yesterday I got the recipt in mail. waiting for biomatice notice .

ckpd, I think you are the smartest one.
1st of May is when all H1s are being filed. So, it is bad time too file for anything because it has to compete with all 120 thousands H1 cases.

Yes.. I did not get my EAD receipt but I did receive my EAD card.
