Do they really care?

Hi,

I filled in a contact form with one of NC senators asking for help regarding the wherabouts of my physical green card but they have not responded back for 3 days now. Is this the best way to contact a senator? do they really care about permanent residents since we can not vote?

I already did that 3 or 4 times but nothing happened. when I talked to immigration officer in two times their answer was that is why we give you a one year stamp. wait.
