Do OCI card holders need transit visas when transiting through India?

I am an OCI (now US citizen) who will be traveling from the US to Bhutan, transiting through India. On the way back from Bhutan, I will spend a few days in India. Will I need a Indian transit visa? I would think not, since I should be covered by my OCI status, but does anyone have any information to the contrary? Thanks
