Do NIW get prefrence of any sort ?

for NIW for within the country quota if visas are available:
If Eb1 then you do get preference compared to EB2 and EB3
if EB2 then you do get preference compared to EB3 but after EB1

For EB3: sure you get preference compared to non skilled workers, nurses and other religious worker... man I hate to be EB3 myself...

No you don\'t get any preference at all. Your case may actually get delayed because your PD will be later than most people in your category.
