My details: PD 11/27/97, RD 8/5/99, ND 8/24/99, FP 5/30/00, NIW.
I got I140 approved on 1/98 when I was a Ph.D. student in CT. I graduated and went to IN in 11/1998. Filed I485 to VSC in 8/99 in IN. Done FP in Indianaplis in 5/30/99. Now I am in CA. It\'s been almost half year since the FP was done. I haven\'t heard anything from VSC. Called VSC 3 times. First time was to change my address. Second time was to confirm the address updated and asked how much longer to wait. I was told that I needed to wait 12 more weeks. I called the 3rd time about three week ago because I saw so many approvals with later ND. I told the IIO about my concern. The IIO told me that don\'t worry and I could hear from them in 3-4 weeks either approval or RFE. I was also told that my application was under review. I don\'t really believe IIOs because I saw so many posts in this board about useless information from IIOs. I have been thinking that moving and changing jobs can delay the 485 processing. Does anybody have opinion abou this?
