Do I need transfer?

Hi all,

I just received the Form I-797A, Notice of Action/Approval Notice from Company A.
Company B (a university) is trying to apply the H1-B for me, they haven't sent out any paper work yet.
My question is, if I got the visa from Company B lets say in few weeks. Do I need to do the transfer? Or I can just quit Company A and go to Company B?

-----------company B does not send VISA it can be H1 approval notice if you need to work with B then after you get B H1 approval notice get Visa stamp from consulate and then enter US on B visa stamp
Or I can just quit Company A and go to Company B?
----------- if enter US on A visa stamp then want to work with B you need H1 trasfer
