My sister was in the process of applying for citizenship when she was killed in a head-on collision. Do I need to cancel or withdraw her application?

No need. It will get rejected eventually.

Besides, unless you are the executor of her estate you cannot do anything to her petition.

Soory to hear that. Car accidents are my number one concern in life because 1 out of 100 will eventually be killed in car accidents. So everyone should drive carefully and always buckle up
as caution

I think you do not need to withdraw on her part.

I am sorry to read about your sister's sudden death, I wish you and your family peace. Just leave it as it, USCIS will eventually reject it.

There is such thing as posthumuous citizenship but I think it is only offered to those noncitizens who
die in military service
