Do I need to take appointment for stamping at Hartford, CT?

My case is approved as per website and I will get the notice soon. For passport stamping in Hartford, do I need to take and appointment or can I just go anytime?

If an appointment is needed, that is the procedure to get one?

You wouldn't have to wait in the queue, if you were to take an appointment. You would get a token and still need to wait for you turn, but you avoid the unnecessary wait in the queue outside the room. Go to infopass and take an appointment using the option "I wish to speak to Immigration officer". Make sure to take separate appointment for self and spouse.
