Do I need to submit passport copies for EAD

I am filing for EAD on my own for my wife. Do you know if I need to send passprt copies with EAD application?Below is the list of docs I am sending

1. Filing fee in the amount of $120 payable to “INS”;
2. Form I-765;
3. 2 photos
4. Copy of Application to Adjust to Permanent I-485;
5. Photocopy of I-94 card, both sides.;
6. Copy of Birth certificate.

Don't we need some id like Driving Licence or Photo id or passport copy ?

I used Drivers license to get the interim EAD once. But for regular EAD I did not even send the I94 copies . However there is nothing wrong in sending additional documentation as long as paper reduction has not become mandatory...
