Gurus,

I got married a week ago. I'm going to file derivative I-485 as my husband's dependant. Due to the job reason, physically I live separatively with my husband by renting an apartment in another city within the same state. I have been renting this apartment for 2.5years.

In order to simplify the procedure down on the road (address change and marriage verifaction), I'm planning to put down my husband's address in I-485 application. My question is that do I have to submit AR-11 form (address change) because of the address in I-485 even though I'm still renting the same apartment? All my paper (tax return, pay stub, driver license, bank statement) right now shows my apartment address. Personally I would like to keep my apartment address for convenience and future job relocation.

Please let me know your advice on this issue! Thanks a lot!!!

No, you don't need to file AR-11. You can put your husband's address on I-485, but still keep AR-11 address as your current apartment address (where you live physically). I am assuming you filed AR-11 2.5 years back when you rented your apartement.
